According to statistics from the Water Resources Agency, from 7 a.m. on April 4 to 7 a.m. on April 15, Taiwan's major reservoirs are expected to gain approximately 590 million tons of water, with about 450 million tons already stored. As of 9 a.m. today, Wushantou Reservoir's storage rate exceeds 50%, and Zengwen Reservoir is approaching 30%.
The Water Resources Agency's official website shows that, as of 9 a.m. today, Baoshan Reservoir has reached 100% capacity, while Baoshan Second Reservoir, Yongfengshan Reservoir, and Tekai Reservoir all exceed 90%. Shihmen Reservoir stands at 89.40%. Additionally, Wushantou Reservoir is at 55.99%, Zengwen Reservoir at 29.08%, and Nanhua Reservoir at 68.82%.
According to the agency's data, rainfall from April 4 to April 15 is estimated to provide approximately 590 million tons of water to Taiwan's major reservoirs. Specifically, the Zengwen and Wushantou reservoir system is expected to receive about 160 million tons, Shihmen Reservoir 79.5 million tons, and Nanhua Reservoir approximately 78.5 million tons.
