(Central News Agency, Rome, 13th – comprehensive international report) Approximately 3,000 far-right individuals from across Italy gathered in Rome today, demanding that migrants be "repatriated to their countries of origin." At the same time, a retired general formally announced the establishment of a new far-right political party.
A female participant in the demonstration told AFP, "If migrants are willing to accept our rules for coexistence, they can stay; otherwise, they should return to their own countries."
"Especially those migrants who commit crimes and are repeatedly caught in the act should be deported."
Luca Marsella, spokesperson for the neo-fascist party CasaPound, stated, "We will drive out illegal immigrants through forced expulsion because they simply should not be here."
"Since we're not concerned with political correctness, let's be direct. We also believe that legal immigrants who clearly fail to integrate or assimilate should be sent back to their original countries."
Just meters away from the protest site, European Parliament member and retired general Roberto Vannacci held a rally to officially launch his new far-right party, Futuro Nazionale (FN).
At a press conference, Vannacci declared, "In my view, no one should be allowed to enter Italy."
He was previously a member of the League party, led by Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, which advocates anti-immigration policies.
With less than a year until the 2027 national elections, Vannacci is directly challenging the core base of the current right-wing government with his new party, adding uncertainty to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni's re-election campaign.
Recent opinion polls indicate that Futuro Nazionale enjoys around 4.5% support, mostly drawn from the League party. The party recently announced that four sitting members of parliament have defected to join them, increasing their parliamentary seats to eight. (Translation: Shih Shih) 1150614
