US-Iran War Key News

(CNA, Washington, 14th -综合 international news agencies) US President Trump said today that the peace agreement with Iran will be signed within hours, despite delays caused by Israel's airstrike on Beirut, Lebanon.
According to AFP, Trump told Axios, a US news website, in a phone interview: "This action disrupted the process and delayed the signing by a few hours. It was supposed to happen now, but it's now scheduled for a few hours later."
He expressed dissatisfaction with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for ordering the attack on Beirut, saying: "This is terrible. I can't believe it. This happened just one hour before we were supposed to sign the agreement."
Trump used a string of profanities to Axios, revealing that he had erupted in anger at Netanyahu after Israel's airstrike today on southern Beirut killed three people. Israel claimed the strike was in response to rocket fire from Hezbollah, a Lebanese Shiite fundamentalist militia group, into northern Israel.
Trump told Axios: "Why did Bibi (Netanyahu's nickname) have to launch his f***ing attack? I'm really f***ing furious. I told him he has no f***ing judgment, and I've made it clear to him."
Israel continues its military operations against Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran. Tehran insists that any agreement to end the war must include the Lebanon conflict. (Translation: Ho Hung-ju) 1150615
