(Taiwan News Reporter Zhang Jianzhong, Hsinchu, June 14) Jason Su, Chairman of display module manufacturer Chun Tien, passed away on June 13. Chun Tien announced it will urgently convene a board meeting to elect a new chairman.
In an official statement, Chun Tien confirmed receiving news of Jason Su's passing on June 13 and stated that an extraordinary board meeting will be held to elect a new chairman. The company emphasized that all operations are managed by professional executives and that business operations remain unaffected.
Jason Su graduated from the Department of Economics at National Taiwan University. He previously served as Chairman of Daway Photonics and assumed the role of Chairman at Chun Tien in June 2013, serving for approximately 13 years. He also concurrently held the position of Chairman at Weikuan Investment Co.
Founded in 1998, Chun Tien is a manufacturer specializing in small-to-medium-sized LCD modules for industrial applications.
