The Prime Minister of Pakistan stated that the signing ceremony will be held in Geneva on the 19th.
According to AFP, shortly after Pakistan, the mediating country, announced the agreement, Trump posted on Truth Social: "The agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran is now complete. Congratulations to everyone!"
"I hereby fully authorize the Strait of Hormuz to be opened toll-free and simultaneously authorize the immediate lifting of the U.S. naval blockade. Ships of the world, start your engines—let the oil flow!"
Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced that the United States and Iran have reached a consensus on a 'peace agreement' to immediately cease all military actions, including in Lebanon.
Having served for months as a key mediator in the Middle East conflict, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif posted on X (formerly Twitter) in the early hours of today, Pakistan local time: "With the agreement now in place, the mediation side will assist in facilitating a series of meetings this week.
