According to a report from Central News Agency, the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) announced today that the Pingxi Line has been affected by falling rocks, resulting in a temporary suspension of service between Jingtong and Shifen. Road shuttle services have been immediately activated to assist passengers.

The TRA stated via official notice that at 1:24 PM today, a report was received of falling rocks on the track between Wanggu and Lingjiao (K8+400) on the Pingxi Line. To ensure train operation safety, service between Jingtong and Shifen was immediately suspended, and engineering personnel were dispatched for emergency inspection and response.

Road shuttle services have been initiated between Jingtong and Shifen. The TRA expressed deep apologies for the inconvenience caused to travelers. Passengers are advised to monitor official TRA channels and the 'Central News One-Stop' app for real-time updates.
