The duo triumphed in the final with a score of 6–2, 2–6, 10–7, securing Liang's first career WTA Tour championship.
The Libéma Open is a WTA 250-level tournament. Standing at 158 cm, Liang teamed up with 154 cm Japanese player Shuko Aoyama, forming a 'dwarf duo' that captured attention.
