The two-day International Swim Across Penghu Bay event features the 10km international and 2km challenge races today, with the 5km swim race, 5km stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and 500-meter experience categories for children, individuals, and families scheduled for June 14. Considering weather and ocean current conditions, the 5km swim race will start from Magong's Guanyin Pavilion.
In conjunction with the event, the Ministry of Sports launched the 'Aquatic Sports Leadership Program' at Guanyin Pavilion waters, offering SUP and canoeing experiences, challenge zones, and water safety workshops, drawing crowds of sports enthusiasts to the area. (Edited by Li Xi-zhang) 1150613
