U.S.-Iran War Key News
(Tehran, Central News Agency, June 13 - International Wire Report) Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei stated today that the planned memorandum of understanding to end hostilities with the United States will not be signed tomorrow.
According to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Baqaei said, "We must wait for the exact signing time, but it will not be tomorrow."
Pakistan, serving as mediator, earlier claimed that Iran and the U.S. might finalize the agreement within 24 hours.
Baqaei added, "The possibility of this happening in the coming days cannot be ruled out."
Reuters quoted a Western source yesterday saying that the U.S. and Iran could sign a memorandum ending Middle East hostilities as early as June 14, most likely in Geneva, Switzerland.
U.S. President Donald Trump recently revealed that, due to the agreement being nearly ready, he had canceled a new round of attacks on Iran. (Translation: Chen Yen-chun) 1150613
