According to Central News Agency reporter Yang Sijui in Tainan, on the 13th, Tainan's Yongkang police received intelligence about Vietnamese nationals operating an underground KTV that hosted drug parties exclusively for Vietnamese migrant workers. After extensive evidence collection, a raid was conducted on the morning of the 8th, resulting in the arrest of nine individuals, including the main suspects surnamed Ding and Huang.

Yongkang Police Substation Deputy Chief Hong Bailiang stated that during the raid, over NT$80,000 in illicit cash, large quantities of second- and third-grade narcotics, and 1.5 kilograms of third-grade drug precursors were seized.

The Vietnamese-style KTV was concealed within an unassuming metal-roofed building in Zhongzheng North Road, Yongkang District. It specifically targeted Vietnamese migrant workers, offering various drugs. On the day of the raid, police stormed the private rooms, arresting the two managers and seven Vietnamese nationals—three of whom were identified as absconded workers.

On-site seizures included 27 packets of second-grade methamphetamine (gross weight 19.31 grams), 29 packets of ketamine (26.78 grams), 24 packets of drug-laced coffee bags labeled 'Best Wishes' (total gross weight 58.66 grams), and 71 red-patterned flower-design drug coffee bags (362.93 grams). Additional evidence included ledgers, scales, packaging bags, surveillance equipment, and cash proceeds.

Further searches at the residence of the main suspect Ding uncovered 19 packets of methamphetamine (11.88 grams), 20 drug coffee packets (104.16 grams), and a significant quantity of third-grade 'benzodiazepine-class' drug precursors. Authorities successfully intercepted this batch before it could be processed and distributed.
