British media reported that the stolen items are believed to include footballs and players' cleats.

According to Reuters, the equipment was stolen while being transported from England's pre-tournament training base in Florida to Swope Soccer Village in Kansas City. The gear was intended to be ready ahead of the team's arrival tomorrow to begin training.

Police stated: "We are investigating a suspected theft of team equipment from a vehicle that arrived in Kansas City tonight. Items are missing from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing. Two individuals involved have been detained pending further investigation."
