CPBL Brothers vs. Dragons Game Postponed Due to Rain, Rescheduled for June 30

(CNA Reporter Su Chih-she, Taipei, 12th) The Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) game between the CTBC Brothers and Wei Chuan Dragons at Tianmu Baseball Stadium today waited until the last moment before announcing a rain delay. The game has been rescheduled for June 30 at the same venue.

Continuous rain fell at Tianmu Baseball Stadium today. The game was originally scheduled to start at 6:35 PM. As the rain briefly subsided before the game, Brothers general manager Peng Cheng-min, Dragons general manager Ting Chung-wei, and league officials discussed on the field and initially planned to delay the start until 6:50 PM.

However, after the ceremonial first pitch, the league ultimately assessed the weather and field conditions and declared a postponement. Dragons manager Yeh Chun-chang and Brothers manager Keiichi Hirano shook hands on the field, and players walked onto the field one by one to greet the fans who had already entered the stadium.
