(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 11) STARLUX Airlines announced today a new co-branded product line with Starbucks. The Starbucks Bearista mascot will be dressed in a STARLUX pilot uniform, with 11 related items launching on June 17. A Bearista figurine and other items are expected to follow in July.
According to a press release from STARLUX Airlines, the 11 items include travel accessories, specialty cups, and everyday items, each blending STARLUX Airlines elements with Starbucks' classic style. The Bearista series, featuring the mascot in a STARLUX pilot uniform, includes keychains, flight tote bags, and single-cup carriers.
STARLUX noted that the collaboration transforms in-flight elements into fun everyday items. Examples include a mini storage box inspired by the aircraft service cart, a Bluetooth earphone case shaped like a cargo container, and a mug lamp designed like a boarding pass.
The co-branded items will be available for pre-purchase by STARLUX members at Starbucks physical stores on June 17, with online sales starting the same day. General sales begin June 18. In July, the company plans to launch Bearista figurines and other dream flight items.
Separately, in anticipation of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, Singapore Airlines announced that from June 11 to July 19, passengers can watch live matches on board via the Sport 24 live channel on the KrisWorld Live TV entertainment system. (Editor: Guan Zhongwei) 1150611
