(Central News Agency reporter Wang Xinyu, Taipei 11th) The film 'The Sadness' sparked discussion upon its initial release due to its shocking gore and visual impact. The film company announced that a fan meeting will be held on the 19th at the Taipei Dome Showtime Cinema, with producer Jeffrey Huang, director Rob Jabbaz, and lead actors Berant Zhu and Lyan Lei in attendance. 'The Sadness' was originally released in 2021, focusing on a terrifying viral mutation theme. The special effects makeup team, Jue Art Studio, created the gory looks, and the film features numerous scenes of flying blood and flesh. The team spent three months producing a large number of realistic fake heads, prosthetic limbs, organs, and other special props. Additionally, there were stunt double heads, model heads for CGI compositing, mechanical exploding heads, special blood-squirting heads, and various damaged faces, along with enough internal organs and prosthetics to fill two large storage boxes. After its release, a critic noted that the director's style was exaggerated, leaving audiences exhausted by the gore, but also described it as an ultimate, cruel, and terrifying cinematic experience. For this return to the big screen, producer Jeffrey Huang, director Rob Jabbaz, producer David Barker, and lead actors Berant Zhu, Lyan Lei, and Wang Tzu-Chiang will all attend and take photos with the audience. Ticket buyers will also receive a limited-edition poster with a glow-in-the-dark effect. (Editor: Wu Surou) 1150611
