(CNA, New York, 11th, Comprehensive Foreign Report) International oil prices closed lower today as expectations grew that the over three-month-long U.S.-Iran conflict would soon reach a final agreement, after U.S. President Donald Trump announced and then canceled a plan for airstrikes against Iran within hours.

According to Reuters, North Sea Brent crude futures fell $2.72, or 2.9%, to settle at $90.38 a barrel.

U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures also fell $2.32, or 2.6%, to close at $87.71 a barrel. (Compiled by: Yang Chao-yen) 1150612
