(Central News Agency, Wang Hongguo, New Taipei City, 10th) A minibus operated by Royal Bus overturned at the 4.5km mark of Yangjin Highway (Provincial Highway 2A) in New Taipei City around 11:00 AM today. The driver and a female passenger were injured and sent to a hospital after extricating themselves. The cause of the accident is under police investigation.

Police and firefighters received a report at 11:14 AM today about a minibus overturned on the roadside at the 4.5km mark of Yangjin Highway, with two people trapped inside. Upon arrival, responders confirmed the bus belonged to Royal Bus.

The fire department stated that the bus was operating on a route between Taipei City and Jinshan District, New Taipei City, via Yangmingshan. The bus overturned for unknown reasons, trapping the driver and a female passenger in her 50s with minor injuries.

The Jinshan Branch dispatched 3 fire trucks and ambulances with 8 personnel. Upon arrival, both injured individuals were conscious and had already freed themselves.
