FSC Approves Cash Dividends for 4 Life Insurers, Total Reaches NT$20.039 Billion

Central News Agency (Taipei, June 9) The Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) stated today that as of now, seven life insurance companies have applied to distribute dividends, and it has approved dividend payouts for four of them, with the approved amount reaching NT$20.039 billion.

According to FSC statistics, a total of six life insurers applied for cash dividends in 2025, with a total approved amount of NT$20.37 billion.

According to regulations, life insurers must apply to and obtain approval from the FSC Insurance Bureau before distributing cash dividends. However, property and casualty insurers do not need FSC approval for dividend distribution. FSC Insurance Bureau Chief Secretary Liu Chun-bin stated that as of now, seven life insurers have applied to distribute cash dividends for 2025, and four have been approved, with the approved amount reaching NT$20.039 billion.
