Heavy Rain Leads to Closure of Southbound Lane on South-Link Highway's Jinlun-Duoliang Section

(CNA reporter Li Hsien-feng, Taitung County, 9th) Affected by a plum rain front and southwest airflow, there is a risk of falling rocks on the slopes of the South-Link Highway. To ensure the safety of road users, traffic control will be implemented on the southbound lane of Provincial Highway 9 between Jinlun and Duoliang starting at 5 PM today. The inner northbound lane will be used for southbound traffic.

The Dawu Works Section of the Highway Bureau's Southern Region Maintenance Engineering Branch stated that due to the heavy rain and after a rolling review, traffic control is being implemented on the southbound lane of the Taitung Jinlun to Duoliang section of Provincial Highway 9 (398K+600~400K+050). Normal traffic will resume depending on weather conditions.
