(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 9, reporter Pan Zhiyi) Rongchang Technology today announced its May consolidated revenue of NT$109.16 million, a 7.8% increase month-on-month, the highest monthly figure since September last year.

Rongchang stated that its network infrastructure products are designed for outdoor professional waterproof and weather-resistant applications, requiring complex and lengthy certifications. Once certified, these products are difficult to replace, and historically, orders for such products often last over 10 years, contributing to the company's long-term stable growth.

Rongchang indicated that the 7.8% month-on-month revenue increase in May was primarily due to additional demand from networking clients. 60% of shipments were antenna-related products, compensating for shipment delays caused by material shortages in the first quarter. Among these, WiFi7 products accounted for over 50% of shipments. The company expects this additional demand to continue into June. Cumulative revenue for the first five months reached NT$467 million, an 11.3% increase year-on-year.

Regarding US infrastructure projects, Rongchang noted that these projects primarily involve institutional metal chassis products. Starting in April, the US adjusted its steel and aluminum tariff calculation method again, leading to increased costs for US clients. Consequently, clients are seeking better tax-efficient shipping methods from the design phase. While shipments occurred in the second quarter, the volume did not expand as expected.

Rongchang emphasized that network infrastructure products are designed for outdoor professional waterproof and weather-resistant applications, requiring complex and lengthy certifications. Once certified, they are difficult to replace, and historically, orders often last over 10 years. The company believes that the expansion of physical AI in areas such as agricultural monitoring, environmental monitoring, logistics warehousing, cloud storage, and edge computing will only increase the number of outdoor deployments, providing long-term growth momentum.
