(Central News Agency reporter Huang Yujing, Pingtung County, 9th) The annual 'Pingtung 3D Tourism Carnival - Pingtung Super Tour' opening event and first tours were originally scheduled to be held at Hengchun Airport from the 12th to the 14th. However, due to recent rainfall, the Pingtung County Government announced today that the event is postponed, and a new date will be announced as soon as it is decided.
The Central Weather Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications stated that a frontal system will gradually move south tomorrow and the 11th, with heavy or extremely heavy rain expected in central and southern Taiwan. Another frontal system will move in starting the 12th, increasing rainfall across the region.
According to a press release from the Pingtung County Government's Department of Transportation and Tourism, this year's main opening event and first tours include ultralight aircraft ride-along experiences, static displays of military helicopters and light aircraft, drone soccer experiences, and children's experience camps.
The Department stated that the four sessions of the 3-day, 2-night 'Real Pingtung Light Travel' tours, originally scheduled to open for registration at noon on the 12th, will proceed as planned. Interested players are advised to set an alarm to register. The limited four tours will be launched from September 11 to October 18, combining aerial flights, ground exploration, and local cultural experiences to create in-depth travel itineraries.
The Department added that the latest event information can be found on the Facebook fan pages 'Pingtung GO Fun - Pingtung County Government Department of Transportation and Tourism' and 'Pingtung Super Tour', or by visiting the event website at https://pt3dreal.rezio.shop/zh-TW.
