(Central News Agency reporter Jiang Yijing, Yunlin County, 9th) Yunlin County's Gukeng Industrial Value-Added Park is expected to be completed by mid-2029. The Yunlin County Government held an investment briefing today, releasing the first batch of 40 land parcels for application, attracting over a hundred participants. Yunlin County Magistrate Chang Li-shan explained the park's positioning and other details to the business community, welcoming companies to actively apply.

The Gukeng Industrial Value-Added Park broke ground last year and is scheduled for completion by mid-2029. The Yunlin County Government held the investment briefing for the park today, with over a hundred attendees.

Chang Li-shan stated that the Gukeng Industrial Value-Added Park is not just a piece of legal land for factory construction, but a crucial platform for the county government to build linkages in agricultural processing, cold chain logistics, low-pollution manufacturing, and local specialty industries. Once completed, the park is expected to create approximately 3,000 job opportunities and an annual output value of about NT$10.2 billion. This will help attract young people to return to their hometowns for employment, revitalize the local economy, and strengthen Yunlin's key role in the central Taiwan industrial corridor.

Liao Zheng-yan, Director of the Yunlin County Construction Department, stated that the Gukeng Industrial Value-Added Park covers a total area of approximately 72 hectares. It is located near the Gukeng Interchange on National Highway No. 3 and connects to major roads such as Provincial Highway 78, Provincial Highway 3, County Road 154 Yi, and County Road 158 Jia, offering locational advantages for linking north-south high-speed transport and east-west regional traffic.

Liao Zheng-yan pointed out that the park is conducting its first investment attraction phase, releasing 40 land parcels in the initial batch, totaling over 63,000 ping. The largest parcel is over 3,900 ping, and the smallest is over 280 ping. Referring to land prices in the Douliu Industrial Park and Dapumei Industrial Park, the price is set at NT$87,500 to NT$92,900 per ping.

The Yunlin County Construction Department reminded interested companies to submit their applications to the Yunlin County Government before 5:00 PM on July 20th. (Editor: Li Hengshan) 1150609
