AUO May Revenue Up 7.9% MoM, Coretronic Up 2%

(Central News Agency, reporter Pan Zhiyi, Taipei, 9th) Panel maker AU Optronics (AUO) today announced its May self-consolidated revenue of NT$23.84 billion, an increase of 7.9% from April and a decrease of 1.4% year-on-year. Panel backlight module maker Coretronic Corporation announced its May self-consolidated revenue of approximately NT$3.243 billion, a 2% increase from April and a 6% increase year-on-year.

Coretronic expects that as pre-stocking demand for sporting events continues to heat up, the overall shipment momentum for image products in June will gradually recover. Driven by significant growth in shipments of TV and public display-related products, the overall shipment volume of energy-saving products in June is expected to grow compared to May.

Touch panel maker TPK-KY today announced its May self-consolidated revenue of NT$6.15 billion. Starting from January 2026, the revenue of its subsidiary, Ene-KY, will be consolidated. Ene-KY's May revenue was NT$1.63 billion. TPK-KY's overall consolidated revenue decreased by 9.6% from April and 2.6% year-on-year.

Touch panel maker GIS-KY (General Interface Solution) reported that its May self-consolidated revenue was NT$3.198 billion, a decrease of 17.86% from April and a 50.88% decrease year-on-year. (Editor: Huang Guolun) 1150609
