Key News on US-Iran War
(TEHRAN, 9th, Combined Foreign Reports) Multiple Iranian news agencies reported this morning that the capital's international airport has reopened, and a flight carrying Hajj pilgrims from Saudi Arabia has landed.
AFP quoted Mehr news agency as saying: "The Deputy Director of Airport Operations at Imam Khomeini Airport Company announced that flights to Imam Khomeini Airport and Hajj flights have resumed."
Before Tehran International Airport suspended all inbound flights on the 7th, Iran had launched missiles at Israel, after which Israel launched retaliatory airstrikes.
Tehran International Airport is one of two airports in the Iranian capital. During the Middle East war, in addition to this recent closure, it had also been closed for several weeks previously, only resuming operations in April. (Editor: Yang Zhaoyan) 1150609
