Kao Tu Motor Invests NT$2 Billion to Build Vehicle Preparation Center in Pingtung's Liukuai Industrial Park

(Central News Agency, Pingtung County, 8th) Kao Tu Motor Co., Ltd. is investing NT$2 billion to establish a vehicle preparation center in Pingtung County's Liukuai Industrial Park, with a groundbreaking ceremony held today. Pingtung County Magistrate Chou Chun-mi stated that this symbolizes Pingtung's automotive industry entering a new stage of smart, high-value, and systematic development.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the new construction of Kao Tu Motor's vehicle preparation center was held today, attended by Magistrate Chou Chun-mi and Kao Tu Motor Chairman Yu Jung-hui. This investment of NT$2 billion, covering an area of approximately 6,000 ping, demonstrates the company's determination to deepen its roots in Pingtung and expand its layout in the southern Taiwan market, adding another impressive achievement to the investment attraction results of the Liukuai Industrial Park.

Magistrate Chou Chun-mi stated at the ceremony that the county is committed to promoting industrial transformation, upgrading, and economic development. In the automotive sector, Pingtung has a deep and complete development foundation, having accumulated industrial energy in automobile manufacturing, precision processing, sales, and after-sales services over the long term. The entry of Kao Tu Motor extends Pingtung's automotive industry landscape to highly digitalized vehicle smart preparation, backend precision services, and modern logistics management, symbolizing Pingtung's automotive industry officially moving into a new stage of smart, high-value, and systematic development.

Chairman Yu Jung-hui said that Kao Tu Motor has 10 sales offices in the Pingtung area and is very confident about operating in Pingtung. He added that the establishment of the center will provide better preparation services to customers.

According to Pingtung County's Department of Urban and Rural Development, the total area of the Liukuai Industrial Park is approximately 19 hectares. The portion handled by the county government has achieved the goal of selling all land, with a total of 7 companies applying for purchase and entry. Kao Tu Motor is the fourth company to hold a groundbreaking ceremony, demonstrating the business community's high recognition of Pingtung's investment environment. As various investment projects are gradually implemented, the Liukuai Industrial Park will become an important engine driving the upgrading of Pingtung's industries.
