Kaohsiung City Announces Work and Class Suspension for 5 Mountain Districts on June 9

The Kaohsiung City Government announced tonight that tomorrow's forecasted rainfall in the mountainous areas of Kaohsiung has reached the standard for suspending work and classes. Accordingly, work and classes will be suspended tomorrow in five administrative districts: Namasia District, Taoyuan District, Jiasian District, Liugui District, and Maolin District. According to a notice issued by the Kaohsiung City Government this evening, based on information from the Central Weather Administration, due to the influence of a stationary front and southwest winds, the forecasted rainfall for Kaohsiung's mountain areas tomorrow has reached the suspension standard. To ensure the safety of mountain residents, work and classes will be suspended tomorrow in the five administrative districts of Namasia, Taoyuan, Jiasian, Liugui, and Maolin.
