Farglory Ocean Park's 'Dolphin Guardian Base' to Begin Trial Operation on July 1

Farglory Ocean Park unveiled the brand identity and site plan for its new 'Dolphin Guardian Base' and announced that the base will begin trial operation on July 1. This is not just a facility renovation project but the most significant value transformation since the park's establishment.

Farglory Ocean Park stated that as society's awareness of marine conservation and animal welfare increases, the role of the ocean park is evolving with the times. The future ocean park should not just be a place to observe marine life but an important platform for understanding the ocean and learning to protect it. The commencement of trial operations for the 'Dolphin Guardian Base' symbolizes the dolphin paradise moving into a new phase centered on animal care, education, scientific research, and conservation.

Deng Chun-ren, Director of the General Management Office of Farglory Leisure Business, pointed out that the park has rethought the relationship between humans and marine life. By establishing the 'Dolphin Guardian Base,' they aim to significantly enhance animal welfare and allow visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the true needs and value of marine life through functions such as animal care, medical treatment, educational tours, and scientific research.

For this brand identity, the park specifically commissioned a team led by Feng Yu, Creative Director of IF OFFICE. Feng Yu has participated in numerous national public brand design projects, including the main visual for the 2021 National Day, the centennial of the Presidential Office Building, and the annual identity for the National Theater and Concert Hall, using design to respond to social issues and public value.

Farglory Ocean Park stated that in addition to the identity update, the base's space has been planned with the participation of a cross-disciplinary team to create an inclusive space that combines education, care, and immersive experience functions. In the future, visitors will have the opportunity to learn about dolphin environmental enrichment, medical check-ups, and scientific conservation research through educational tours and interactive exploration, moving from 'watching dolphins' to 'understanding dolphins.'
