(Central News Agency, Seoul, 8th, Comprehensive Foreign News) Jensen Huang, CEO of AI chip giant Nvidia, said today that Nvidia will partner with South Korean tech conglomerate LG to jointly develop humanoid robots and data centers.

According to Reuters, Huang told the media after meeting with LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo: "We will work with them on motor technology and mechanical systems, so that we can combine humanoid robots with the future of robotics."

He also said: "We are also working with LG to jointly design the architecture of future data centers."

Today is the last day of Huang's visit to South Korea. Huang and Koo had dinner together in Hongdae on the 5th, which was also attended by the chairmen of SK Group and Naver. Today's meeting was their second meeting during Huang's trip.

According to The Korea Herald, Nvidia's partnership with South Korean companies extends beyond the semiconductor sector.

Huang and Koo discussed cooperation in areas such as robotics, AI, data centers, and mobility.

After the meeting, Huang told the media that robotics technology is the most important area of cooperation for both sides, describing it as a fusion of electronics, mechanical systems, and AI. He noted that LG possesses many technologies that are crucial for many industries in the future.

When asked if AI demand expectations are too high, Huang said he does not think so. He pointed out that this is the beginning of a new industry, and any market volatility is a buying opportunity.

He stated: "The current scale of AI infrastructure in South Korea is still very small, so the future of this industry will definitely be much larger." He added that if the stock market is trading at a discount, "that's a good time to buy."

Koo took a more conservative stance. He said the two discussed "future directions" and that accelerating the AI era requires "more cooperation." He mentioned that there wasn't enough time for in-depth discussion, but Huang has invited him to California to continue talks.
