Haozi admitted that the filming pressure was immense, nearly causing him to break down. Lan Cheng-lung cut his hand while preparing ingredients, giving the audience a glimpse of the show's unreservedly real nature.

The first episode sparked widespread discussion. According to a press release, Haozi commented that evening, 'During this filming period of over half a year, I truly poured all my spirit into preparation. The pressure was so immense, I didn't know if I would break down or how much more I could endure. But thankfully, I managed to pull through!'

Qianqian also shared on social media that her first banquet internship was a shocking education. Master Datou led her and Sonia Sui through ingredient preparation, table setting, and plating. By the end, she felt like half her bones were scattered. At that moment, she thought how happy it must be to sit at the guest table, and vowed, 'If I ever have the chance to eat at a banquet again, I will clean every single dish!'

Lan Cheng-lung said that completing the task together with the crew moved him in a way he hadn't felt in a long time. He cherishes being able to do what he loves with such team spirit as support. Chen Suiyi was happiest that even his elderly grandmother stayed up late to support the premiere.
