(CNA, Taipei, June 8, by reporter Yeh Su-ping) President Lai Ching-te encouraged graduates today with a battling top, stating, "A battling top gathers full power before each launch, and every collision is a chance to learn to stabilize its center of gravity." He promised that the government would be a supporter for the youth and wished everyone a future that is 'ㄅ-grade' (awesome).

As it is currently graduation season, President Lai shared a video on a social media platform today to congratulate the graduates.

In the video, President Lai holds a battling top and shouts, "3! 2! 1! GO SHOOT!" while encouraging the graduates.

He expressed his hope that graduates would charge bravely towards their dreams. He acknowledged that while they have expectations for the future, they might also feel nervous, but there's no need to worry too much. Life will always present many choices and unknowns, but it is precisely the unknown that makes it worthwhile to step out bravely and see.

President Lai said that, just like a battling top, power is accumulated before each launch, and every collision is an opportunity to learn to find one's center of gravity. A new stage of life is waiting for everyone to explore, and he looks forward to everyone continuing to maintain their curiosity and bravely explore the world.

President Lai also promised that the government would be a 'ㄅ-grade' supporter for the youth and wished everyone a 'ㄅ-grade' future. (A 'ㄅ-grade' is a rating system using Taiwanese phonetic symbols to replace traditional grades like A, B, C, D, with 'ㄅ' sounding like 'bàng,' which means 'awesome').
