The Seismology Center of the CWA reported that the magnitude of the morning earthquake in Mindanao, Philippines, was revised from 8.2 to 7.8. Regarding the tsunami triggered by the earthquake, based on the warning content issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center and the CWA's calculations, the estimated wave heights for Taiwan are below 30 centimeters, failing to meet the threshold for a tsunami warning.
