The 115th Hua Nan Financial Holdings Cup National Youth Baseball Tournament serves as the selection event for this year's U15 World Cup. The championship match was between New Taipei City and Tainan City. New Taipei City's leadoff hitter, Wang Sheng-rang, had 2 hits and 1 RBI in the game, along with one hit-by-pitch. His team won the championship, and he was named the tournament's MVP (Most Valuable Player).

New Taipei City head coach Chiu Yao-yu stated that Wang Sheng-rang served as the team captain this time and performed well overall, showing improvement in both batting and defense at the junior high school level. Having experience as a U12 World Cup national team player, he also demonstrated better composure under pressure.
