The Taiwan business unit's revenue increased by 12.11% year-on-year, marking the second-highest monthly record. Cumulative revenue for the first five months exceeded NT$10 billion, reaching NT$10.76 billion, a year-on-year increase of 11.26%.
Wowprime Group announced its May self-reported consolidated revenue for both sides of the strait at NT$2.36 billion on June 8, a 15.02% year-on-year increase, once again breaking the historical record and setting a new high for the same period for the fourth consecutive month. Among this, the Taiwan business unit's revenue reached NT$1.91 billion, an increase of over NT$200 million compared to the same period last year, a 12.11% year-on-year increase, marking the second-highest single-month record and also a new high for the same period for four consecutive months.
Wowprime's China business unit revenue in May was NT$450 million, a 29.26% year-on-year increase, growing by NT$100 million compared to the same period last year, achieving double-digit growth for the seventh consecutive month. For the first five months of 2026, Wowprime's cumulative consolidated revenue surpassed the NT$10 billion mark, reaching NT$10.76 billion, an 11.26% year-on-year increase.
Wowprime explained that the Taiwan Labor Day holiday and the Mother's Day dining effect drove strong performance at its restaurants. The Mother's Day weekend saw daily revenue exceed NT$110 million for two consecutive days, setting a new single-day revenue record for the group.
In response to the ongoing intense competition ('involution') in the Chinese mainland catering market, Wowprime stated it is actively adjusting menus, optimizing the supply chain, improving cost structures, and offering products with better value for money. This has driven performance back onto a growth track and resumed store expansion to increase market influence.
