(Central News Agency, New York, 8th, Combined Foreign Reports) Benefiting from a rebound in chip stocks and signs of easing tensions in the Middle East, Wall Street's main indexes opened higher today, rebounding from the sharp sell-off in the previous trading session.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average opened up 130.5 points, or 0.26%, at 50,997.23.

The S&P 500 opened up 56.8 points, or 0.77%, at 7,440.57.

The Nasdaq Composite Index opened sharply higher, gaining 355.6 points, or 1.38%, to 26,065.07.
