(Central News Agency, reporter Hao Xueqing, Taichung, 8th) Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Taichung mayoral candidate Ho Hsin-chun held a press conference today to announce her spokesperson team. The four spokespersons are City Councilors Chen Shu-hua, Chiang Chao-kuo, Lin Te-yu, and Lin Chun-yu, director of Legislator Tsai Chi-chang's service office. They belong to various factions within the DPP.
Ho held the press conference at her Nantun municipal office, unveiling the spokesperson team and the 'Taichung Chun Pai' campaign T-shirts as the team's campaign identity, showcasing Taichung's innovative campaign spirit. Chen Shu-hua belongs to the English faction, Chiang Chao-kuo to the Justice Alliance, Lin Te-yu to the New Tide, and Lin Chun-yu represents the support of Tsai Chi-chang's team and serves as the spokesperson for the younger generation.
Ho stated that with less than six months until the mayoral election, various campaign tasks are proceeding intensively. The team has only one common goal: 'Mayor Ho Hsin-chun, All Legislators Home Run.' She noted that the four spokespersons introduced today share a common trait: they are all political workers who have been trained through roles as legislative aides, local service providers, and city council questioners. Whether senior councilors or new-generation members, they understand grassroots needs, are familiar with municipal issues, and are the most down-to-earth.
Ho also unveiled the 'Taichung Chun Pai' campaign T-shirts, available in black and red designs. The left chest features a red circle with a large character 'Chun' (pure), symbolizing the team's 'Chun Pai does real work' approach. She said, 'With 'Chun,' we dare to speak loudly,' promising to serve citizens efficiently and with action, showcasing youthful energy and vitality, and dedicating all their learning to the city of Taichung.
When asked about her rising online presence, Ho said that the change in online buzz indicates that Taichung citizens' discussions about the election and the city's future direction are heating up. It also shows that the municipal issues she has been raising, such as transportation, childcare, industry, and urban governance, are gradually resonating with citizens. She stated that this lead in online presence means the discussion heat is rising, and she and her spokesperson team will continue to let policies speak, filling the Taichung campaign with a 'new vision' for the city and showing citizens that Taichung can be better.
