(CNA Tehran/Jerusalem, 8th, Comprehensive Foreign Report) The Israeli military stated today that it detected a new wave of missiles launched from Iran, marking the sixth wave of attacks since the conflict escalated yesterday. The international airport in Iran's capital, Tehran, has also suspended all inbound flights.

According to AFP, the Israeli military said: "The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) detected missiles launched from Iran towards Israeli territory a short time ago. The defense systems are operational and are intercepting this threat."

Iran's semi-official Mehr News Agency reported yesterday: "The Civil Aviation Organization has announced that all flights to Khomeini International Airport are suspended until further notice."

Khomeini International Airport is one of the two main airports in Iran's capital, Tehran. The airport had been closed for several weeks due to the war in the Middle East and had only reopened in April, but has now been temporarily closed again.
