Kento Nakajima Vows to Redeem Himself in Taiwan After Chinese Slip-Up at Taipei Dome

(CNA, Taipei, 8th) Japanese male star Kento Nakajima is coming to Taiwan for a tour in August. In an interview today, he revealed that during his performance at the Taipei Dome last year, he had intended to shout "I love you all" in Chinese but, due to nervousness, ended up shouting "I want to eat xiaolongbao." He has specially prepared a confession line this time to redeem himself.

Kento Nakajima will perform for two consecutive days on August 29 and 30 at Zepp New Taipei. He shared memories of his last visit to Taiwan in a video interview with Taiwanese media today.

Nakajima mentioned that while riding in a car around the field at the Taipei Dome last year, he wanted to shout "I love you all" in Chinese to express his gratitude but nervously yelled "I want to eat xiaolongbao" instead. He could feel the entire stadium of fans looking puzzled. "I must properly redeem myself for this mistake when I get the chance!" he said. However, he is grateful for the fans' support, as during his song "Candy," even fans who didn't know him shouted "I love Kenty (Kento Nakajima)," which was an unforgettable moment for him.

In his new film "Love≠Comedy," Nakajima plays a "flawless, all-around handsome man." When asked if he has a dorky side in private, he laughed and replied, "Actually, in many ways. For example, I can't wake up in the morning at all, and when I'm hungry, I order too much delivery food and can only put the leftovers in the fridge." He shared that the moments he can best shed his celebrity persona are when he's with his family, not only massaging his father's shoulders but also going to the movies with his parents. "That's when I'm most relaxed and don't have to worry about the 'prince' character."

Regarding his upcoming visit to Taiwan, Kento Nakajima today showed off a Chinese confession he prepared for his fans: "I love xiaolongbao the most, but actually, xiaolongbao is my second favorite.
