(Central News Agency, reporter Li Jianzhong, Taipei, 7th) 'Go Goddess' Hei Jiajia, while focusing on her entertainment career in recent years, has also been actively promoting Go at the grassroots level. She recently visited Wilson Kindergarten in Tainan, leading children to participate in the IGQE International Go Proficiency Test and interacting closely with the kindergarten students.
This year marks the 5th anniversary of 'Hei Jiajia Go.' She utilizes her expertise to promote the game of Go. Yesterday, in addition to interacting with the kindergarten children, she presented a new look of traditional Go education combined with technological learning through AI Go robots, diverse parent-child challenge courses, and AI proficiency tests.
Hei Jiajia mentioned that her reduced presence in public tournaments recently is due to the significant time she and her team have invested in creating and optimizing Go educational content. She and her team have comprehensively revamped and upgraded the main courses recorded in the past from three dimensions: learning, practicing, and playing, aiming to make Go accessible to all students in a more understandable and enjoyable way.
Hei Jiajia emphasized, 'Many people think Go is difficult, but actually, children are more receptive than we imagine. If you introduce it in a suitable way, Go can become a very fun and rewarding activity.'
Now 32 years old, Hei Jiajia is a beautiful Go player of Australian and Taiwanese descent. She represented Taiwan at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, winning a bronze medal in the women's team event and finishing 4th in the mixed doubles. She later focused on professional Go tournaments and signed an entertainment contract in 2016.
Possessing the spirit of a Go player and a sweet appearance, Hei Jiajia also expressed her willingness to take on more diverse roles in the future, particularly wanting to try playing an intelligent villain, hoping to show the audience a different side of herself through her work.
