Tseng praised Huang Wen-yi, who was born in Taiwan, for setting a record for Chinese-Australian political participation. They have agreed to meet again in Kaohsiung next year for the 30th anniversary of the sister city twinning, working together to deepen the friendship between the two cities.
Brisbane is a city where many Taiwanese businesses in Australia are concentrated. Tseng lauded the solidarity and hard work of Taiwanese people in Australia. He also took the opportunity to market Kaohsiung, stating that after TSMC's investment, Kaohsiung has transformed into a technology and smart city, becoming one of the world's most worthwhile cities for investment. Tseng further noted that next year marks the 30th anniversary of the Kaohsiung-Brisbane sister city relationship.
