Heavy Rain Warning for Yilan Mountains; 14 Counties and Cities on Alert

(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 7) The Central Weather Administration issued a heavy rain warning. Due to active convective cloud systems, short-duration heavy rainfall is likely. Today, mountainous areas in Yilan County may experience localized heavy rain or torrential rain. Areas north of Taichung, Nantou, Yilan, and areas south of Yunlin, as well as mountainous areas in Hualien, have a chance of localized heavy rain.
