(Central News Agency, Reporter Zeng Renkai, Taipei, June 7) Amidst turmoil in the Middle East and relatively high international oil prices, CPC Corporation announced on June 7 that it would keep gasoline and diesel prices unchanged starting June 8 to protect domestic livelihoods and stabilize prices. Formosa Petrochemical followed suit, announcing a price freeze for wholesale gasoline and diesel from 1:00 AM on June 8. Retail prices at the pump will be determined by individual加盟 stations. Effective from 1:00 AM on June 8, the reference retail prices at Formosa Petrochemical's加盟 stations are NT$32.4 per liter for 92 unleaded gasoline, NT$33.9 per liter for 95+ unleaded gasoline, NT$35.9 per liter for 98 unleaded gasoline, and NT$30.8 per liter for super diesel.
