(Central News Agency, Penghu County, June 6) The Penghu International Fireworks Festival's first outlying island fireworks show took place in Wangan this evening. The 300-drone light show and fireworks performance were both choreographed based on local characteristics, offering visitors a unique island experience.
The first outlying island fireworks show in Penghu began at 8 PM at the Wangan Green Sea Turtle Conservation Center Plaza. The 300-drone light show was specially arranged to incorporate Wangan's local features, using technological light and shadow to present Wangan's landscape, marine culture, and island imagery in the night sky. The drones acted as brushes in the night sky, painting a story unique to Wangan and showcasing the unique charm of the fusion of technology and local culture. The sea fireworks show also featured a multi-layered design that launched spectacularly against the bay landscape.
In addition to the exclusive drone and fireworks show, the stage featured performances by Penghu's famous "Ju Xiang Mandolin Orchestra" and Taiwanese Golden Melody Award-winning singer Xiang Huiling, who performed several wonderful songs, allowing the audience to spend a night full of memories and emotion accompanied by the sea breeze and fireworks.
The Penghu County Government stated that, in addition to the main venue at Magong Guanyin Pavilion, with the arrival of June, the fireworks festival has entered the peak season for outlying island and local events. The aim is to connect the characteristic attractions and tourism resources of Penghu's various townships and cities through these events, leading visitors to deeply experience the cultural customs and natural landscapes of different islands. The Wangan event kicked off tonight, with subsequent events in Qimei, Jibei, and other local venues to follow, allowing everyone to experience the summer charm woven from fireworks, culture, and island scenery.
