The police stated today that they responded to a report, arrested the man as a flagrante delicto offender for violating the Medical Care Act, and transferred the case to be handled according to the law after interrogation.
A video posted by the public on a social media platform captured a man yelling loudly in a consultation room, using indecent language, smashing items, and threateningly saying, "This isn't the first day I've been a gangster." The yelling terrified patients waiting outside the room.
The First Precinct of the Taichung City Police Department explained that a man surnamed Xiao yelled loudly inside the clinic, severely disrupting the medical practice of healthcare professionals. After rushing to the scene, the police immediately arrested Xiao as a flagrante delicto offender for allegedly violating the Medical Care Act. The entire case was transferred to the Taichung District Prosecutors Office to be handled according to the law after interrogation.
