(Central News Agency, Reporter Wu Shuwei, Taipei, June 6) The Ministry of National Defense (MND) stated that from 6:00 a.m. on June 5 to 6:00 a.m. on June 6, it detected 22 Chinese aircraft, including two that crossed the median line into the central and southwestern airspace, as well as 8 Chinese naval vessels and 2 official ships. A total of 32 Chinese military assets continued to operate around the Taiwan Strait, and the ROC Armed Forces are maintaining strict surveillance and response.
According to a map released by the MND on June 6 titled "Activities of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in the Airspace Around the Taiwan Strait," the military detected 21 Chinese main battle aircraft, drones, and helicopters in the Taiwan Strait airspace from 6:00 a.m. on June 5 to 6:00 a.m. on June 6, one of which crossed the median line.
From 8:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on June 5, the military detected one Chinese support aircraft in Taiwan's southwestern airspace, east of the median line.
