The Alliance for the Return of Characteristic Parks (ATOP) will hold the 2nd 'Play Day' on Ketagalan Boulevard (between Gongyuan Road and Zhongshan South Road) on the afternoon of the 6th.

The Zhongzheng First Precinct of the Taipei City Police Department stated in a press release that traffic control measures have been planned to cooperate with the 'ATOP 2026 2nd Play Day' event held by the ATOP association in front of the Presidential Office on Ketagalan Boulevard.

The Zhongzheng First Precinct stated that to facilitate the organizer's setup and teardown, both eastbound and westbound lanes of Ketagalan Boulevard (between Zhongshan South Road and Gongyuan Road, excluding the intersections) will be controlled from 10 PM tonight until 6 AM on June 7th. The control period may start earlier or be extended depending on traffic conditions.

The police advised drivers to detour via Gongyuan Road or Zhongshan South Road to Qingdao West Road, Changde Street, Guiyang Street, or Aiguo West Road. Traffic control information will be broadcast on the police radio station.

Furthermore, during the control period, city buses traveling on the affected sections will be rerouted, coordinated by the Taipei City Department of Transportation. Drivers passing through the control zone must remain vigilant, drive carefully, avoid illegal parking, and obey the directions of police officers and traffic volunteers at intersections.

According to a press release from the Taipei City Department of Transportation, in response to the 'ATOP 2026 2nd Play Day' event, the police will control Ketagalan Boulevard (Gongyuan Road - Zhongshan South Road). An estimated 18 city bus routes will be affected, and stops at 'Taipei First Girls High School (Gongyuan)' and 'Affiliated Elementary School of University of Taipei' will be canceled.
