(CNA reporter Zhang Jianzhong, Hsinchu, 5th) Johan, a turnkey engineering contractor specializing in cleanrooms and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems for the technology industry, announced today that its current order backlog has reached NT$11 billion, providing visibility of 2 to 3 years. Over 60% of the backlog comprises AI infrastructure projects.

During an online investor conference, Johan stated that driven by robust demand from the semiconductor and AI infrastructure sectors, its first-quarter revenue surged to NT$1.926 billion, with net profit after tax reaching NT$443 million. Both revenue and profit hit record highs for the same period, with earnings per share (EPS) of NT$6.72.

Johan noted that its current key ongoing projects include the expansion of air conditioning and cleanroom facilities for ASE Technology (日月光), Wistron's Zhubei AI Park (緯創竹北AI園區), MPI Corporation's new Hukou plant (旺矽湖口新廠), Radiant Opto-Electronics' Kaohsiung Plant 7 (瑞儀光電高雄7廠), and Nanya Technology's 5A plant (南亞科5A廠).

According to Johan's statistics, as of May this year, the order backlog was NT$11 billion, of which over 60% were AI infrastructure projects, with visibility of 2 to 3 years. The company will dynamically adjust revenue recognition based on client project progress. (Editor: Zhang Junmao) 1150605
