Largan Precision May Revenue Down 14% MoM; June Shipments Expected to Defer

(Central News Agency, Taipei, 5th) Largan Precision's consolidated revenue for May was NT$4.593 billion, a decrease of 14% month-on-month and an increase of 43% year-on-year. Largan estimates that customer demand in June has not decreased, but due to scheduling, shipment momentum will decline compared to May.

Largan's cumulative consolidated revenue for the first five months was NT$25.495 billion, an increase of 15% compared to the same period last year.

Largan stated that customer demand in June appears unchanged, but due to scheduling, shipment momentum will be lower than in May.

Looking at the specifications of lenses shipped in May, high-end lenses with over 20 megapixels accounted for approximately 10% to 20%, lenses in the 10-megapixel range accounted for about 50% to 60%, 8-megapixel lenses accounted for less than 10%, and other products accounted for approximately 20% to 30%.
