According to statistics from the Taiwan Stock Exchange, the turnover rate of the Taiwan stock market in May was 20.61%, an increase of more than 5 percentage points from 15.51% in April. The number of trading accounts in May was 6,488,137, an increase of 793,046 from 5,695,041 in April.

The amount of regular fixed-amount investments in May was NT$32,579,346,838, an increase of NT$3,509,452,899 from NT$29,069,893,939 in April.

According to the exchange's statistics, the proportion of day trading value in May was 37.36%, a slight increase from 37.19% in April. The average daily number of day trading accounts in May was 247,594, an increase of more than 45,000 from 202,228 in April. The proportion of ETF trading value in May was 7.17%, a slight decrease from 8.09% in April.

The proportion of trading value by natural persons in May was 53.33%, a slight increase from 53.02% in April. The proportion of trading value by foreign investors in May was 36.84%, also a slight increase from 36.31% in April.
