The prosecutors stated that after interrogation, the two were deemed to be strongly suspected of the aforementioned crimes and posed a risk of collusion. On May 14, a request for detention and a communication ban was filed with the Fuchien Kinmen District Court and was granted. Subsequently, the task force actively collected and analyzed other procurement case files, and conducted a second phase of investigation on the 3rd and 4th to thoroughly clarify the procurement cases handled by the two during the period in question.
