(Central News Agency, reporter Zeng Renkai, Taipei, June 4) Taking advantage of the Taipei International Computer Show (COMPUTEX), the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) held two international media briefings today. It gathered Taiwanese AI supply chain companies, including Alchip Technologies (世芯-KY) and Asia Vital Components (奇鋐), to present Taiwan's layout in the semiconductor and AI industry chain to the international community. It also demonstrated how TWSE, from a capital market perspective, supports the global development of AI, semiconductors, and next-generation computing infrastructure.

TWSE Chairman Lin Hsiu-ming stated that Taiwan plays a key role in the global AI ecosystem, relying not just on top-tier individual companies, but on a resilient and complete industry chain, as well as a mature and stable capital market that supports long-term industrial development.

Lin said TWSE is committed to connecting upstream and downstream key technologies and enterprises, showing the international market how Taiwan continues to lead global AI infrastructure and laying the foundation for industrial innovation and long-term growth.

TWSE held two international media briefings today. The morning session focused on the semiconductor industry ecosystem, featuring Alchip Technologies CFO Wang De-shan, UIS Technologies (汎銓科技) Chief Strategy Officer and US Subsidiary CEO Liu Chun-hao, Nanya Technology (南亞科) Senior Vice President and Deputy Spokesperson Wu Chih-hsiang, and Unimicron Technology (欣興電子) Finance Department Head and Deputy Spokesperson Hsu Hsing-yuan. The session covered key AI supply chain areas including DRAM, ASIC design, advanced materials analysis, and ABF substrates.

The afternoon session focused on AI infrastructure, featuring Asia Vital Components Senior Finance Manager and Deputy Spokesperson Chen Yen-liang, Delta Electronics (台達電) Senior Manager of Brand and Corporate Information and Deputy Spokesperson Shih Meng-tsung, and Wistron (緯創) CTO Shen Ching-yao. They shared insights on the industrial opportunities driven by the rapid growth in global AI computing demand.

TWSE Commissioner Hu Tse-hua pointed out that Taiwan holds a critical position in global AI development. Behind the AI supply chain, many Taiwanese companies are continuously transforming and upgrading, collectively supporting and driving the entire AI ecosystem. He added that Taiwan's capital market will help companies convert their technological advantages into global competitiveness, fostering a positive cycle where capital, talent, innovation, and investor confidence reinforce each other, thereby supporting the long-term growth of companies and the market.
