Hon Hai's Liu Young-way Meets SK Group's Chey Tae-won to Jointly Pursue Next-Gen AI Infrastructure

Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. (Foxconn) announced today that its Chairman Liu Young-way recently met with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won in Taipei. The two sides discussed the development of the global AI industry, including cooperation in areas such as AI servers, AI data centers, and energy solutions, to strengthen the competitiveness of next-generation AI infrastructure. According to a Hon Hai press release, Liu and Chey exchanged views on the construction of large-scale AI data centers in Asia, market demand trends, and industry cooperation models. Hon Hai will leverage its advantages in AI server vertical integration, rack-level system integration, advanced cooling technology, and AI data center solutions to collaborate with partners in advancing next-generation AI infrastructure. SK Group is accelerating the development of key technologies essential for core infrastructure in the AI era. Going forward, SK will continue to strengthen its global technological competitiveness through innovation in next-generation AI memory technology. Additionally, the two leaders also exchanged views on robotics, energy management, and battery technology, expressing a desire to combine SK Group's deep expertise in energy and key technologies with Hon Hai's strengths in global manufacturing, system integration, and AI application fields to explore future cooperation opportunities.
